Good

The concept of the table, chairs, and dinnerware rental is great in theory and very convenient. Some improvements to the pick up process, a better table, and better quality control (missing items) would make District Rentals great.

Not Too Good

The notifications, confirmations, etc., via email, phone, or text were great but at the Diner En Blanc event, the delivery of the rentals at the event were highly unorganized.

I'm not sure where the fault lies, but we had a less than satisfactory experience with the rental/service. First the tables/chairs/settings were not at the promised drop off location (Courthouse), then after waiting in line for our table/table settings we were told they had run out of or broken too many dinner plates, knives, second forks, champagne flutes, and napkins, which really detracted from our experience. This was our first Diner en Blanc and we thought renting the necessities could be easier and more efficient; it was neither unfortunately, and very disappointing especially considering the amount we spent. I don't think we'd rent from good shuffle/district rentals, considering how much was broken or unusable, a refund would seem reasonable and even necessary.

Rental stuff was exactly as described, except that our salad plates were not in the basket. Basket to tote the stuff to the event had a very uncomfortable handle. Other than that, it was fine.

The quality of the rentals was great, but the distribution was a little unorganized. I think if the packages had been put together prior to arriving at the site, it would've gone much quicker and smoother. A lot of people (including myself) didn't get all of the items in the package. The check-in at the end of the night was a bit unorganized as well, but ultimately, I received my deposit and all was well.

Not Too Good

District Rentals did not show up on time, and when they did, it was not at the designated location. They were supposed to be there at 4pm, but did not show up until about 4:40pm. We were warned to get there early to avoid the crowds. By the time they were set up, there was a long line making for long waits. Totally destroyed my schedule and plans.

Complete cluster f@&k. Not only was our table not available for pick up, they were missing the bread plates and gave us a broken wine glass at the first pick up. After almost an hour of waiting at the secret location, we finally received the table, bread plates and the additional wine glass. I'm really actually upset that we were still charged for it at all! We did be receive the services as we paid for them. Of all things, that's the only thing that put a damper on the wonderful DEB experience.

It was amazingly easy to rent, pick up, and return our items. I wouldn't change anything about the experience that we had. My only suggestion would be that you guys might want to consider renting out trolley carts/dollies...especially for events like DEB!

Overall, I was very satisfied with District Rentals. I am not from the DC area so having this service available not only helped me plan for the Diner en Blanc, but also made it possible for me to attend in the first place. My only suggestion for next year's event is perhaps including a note that 'no carts will be sourced/are available' in the description of the packages so that customers know well in advance that they will need to bring their own in order to carry the table and chairs. All in all, I am looking forward to using this service again for next year's Diner en Blanc!

Everything went smoothly, and we had an amazing time at DEB! I don't know how we would have done a DIY outdoor dinner without renting tables/chairs/etc. Being able to return everything on-site at the end of the night made sure we could keep celebrating.

District Rentals is the highest quality game in town when it comes to flexible and responsive festival rentals. I have nothing but good things to say about the folks involved, the products they rent out, and the overall customer experience. Overjoyed to shop local and shop quality.

The package was a great deal. However, event attendees purchased the deal worth the understanding that tables/chairs/tableware would be available at the site of the event, NOT at the site of departure. It was a real pain having to transport the items as neither the tables, chairs, or tableware were easy to secure. This is something that should be reconsidered for 2016.

When I went to retrieve my package I was missing champagne flutes, dinner napkins, knives, spoons, and dinner plates. Retrieving these items were very chaotic and a bit unorganized. It was clear the staff at Good Shuffle were also flustered. It sucks that I didn't get what I paid for. I hope I get my security deposit back without any issues. I hope they have the materials and manpower worked out for next year because the concept was great!

I was disappointed by the service. While the package itself was great, the package was not at the pickup location. I had to call to determine where the driver was, and then it turned out that the drop off was not occurring at the predetermined location. I only discovered this by a random person walking around announcing it. I was disappointed that I did not receive an email or text message given that previous communication was so strong. Then we waited in line more than 30 minutes at the dinner location because the packages were not compiled. Give the service, the price was much too high.

That day was a serious ball of crazy-town. Though there were some last minute changes for those of us meeting at the courthouse metro, I found it MUCH more convenient to be able to pick our items up on-site. My only constructive criticism is that the set-up/pickup could've been a little easier for us and y'all. Note: The drop-off was a dream!! Thank you for having this service - the value of my time/effort in not having to locate and schlepp these items with everyone else on a congested metro was absolutely invaluable.

I loved the price and the I loved that the package option was offered. Just a few issues, however. 1. The pick up process could be slightly tighter. The poor worker at eastern Market was wonderful BUT she was working alone and thus she was super busy. With each package, she had to wrap it and grab it. If there were two people on site, I think the process would have been better. 2. I did not receive my entire package. There were no salad/bread plates and no water glasses in my basket. 3. How the items were packaged could have been better. The wire basket was cute but not easy to carry. 4. Foldable tables would be awesome!! I loved the whole idea though and I would definitely use this company again. The onsite return of items was EXCELLENT!!
